Molina Healthcare Customer Service Issues
We always strive to help clients get every dollar that is owed them by their insurance company. Currently, we have been experiencing some issues with Molina Healthcare–both the Marketplace plans and Medicaid Managed Care plans. We are working very hard to get benefit verification and authorizations for Molina members, unfortunately calls are being dropped and customer service has been abysmal.
Insurance companies are often more responsive to the patient directly contacting them. We want you to know this is always an option, but we are concerned that Molina will most likely decline the services you need. If this occurs, you may need to have a backup plan for your care. Please consider looking into other insurance plans if you have the opportunity to do so.
